My box arrived in a very timely manner. I love getting boxes in the mail and when I saw this box on my doorstep, I was so happy. That’s the best thing about subscription boxes. It’s like a gift just for you every month. I couldn’t wait to open the box and see what surprises were waiting for me.
When you first open the box, you will see that it is beautifully wrapped with a pretty sticker with the Ecocentricmom logo.
Each box comes with a card which explains what products are contained in the box. I received the pregnancy box to review. I’m not pregnant but this box still had great products for a mom like me (with older kids). The theme of my box was Back to work/back to school which contained products designed to make the transition from summer to fall seamless.
Here’s what I found inside:
POGO mint lip balm. I have to say that this was my favorite item in the box. It is a full sized product ($3.99 for a .15 oz. balm). I received the Mint Mint flavor. It has a great mint flavor which is pleasant with no aftertaste or chemical taste because it is made with great natural ingredients. It is gluten free, cruelty free and certified organic. It is also fair trade certified.
Bug Protector. This product is DEET free and for use on all ages and pets. It is all natural and made with essential oils. It repels mosquitos, gnats and other insects. It’s a safe alternative to DEET products. I received a 2 oz. bottle which goes for $2.99. I have been using this product on myself and my son. It has a pleasant scent and it applies well. No sticky feel on your skin and it keeps your skin soft. Must be the vitamin E.
Hyperbiotics PRO-moms. This is a great product. This product is formulated for pregnant and nursing moms. It is vegetarian, lactose free and gluten free. It contains 5 billion CFU. In addition, it contains kiwifruit powder which is a whole food superfruit which helps the probiotics colonize, supports digestion and reduces constipation. I received a full size in my box which is a one month supply. A one month supply goes for $23.57. Probiotics promote healthy glucose levels and helps promote faster post-partum recovery.
The Cookie Department Snap Back Ginger detox cookie. Contains ginger, cayenne and blackstrap molasses which aids in naturally detoxing the body. Great for post partum enjoyment! And very delicious!!!
Simple Suade Elle bracelet ($17.95). Each piece is individually hand crafted. It’s a double wrap bracelet which looks very cute on a mommy’s wrist. A great gift for that expecting mom because once their baby is born, they can add their baby’s initial to the bracelet! A free baby initial pendant is available with code ECOMOM.
Baby Bandana Drool bib by Billy Goat baby gear. One bib was included in my box and the bibs go for $18.95 for a 4 pack. It is very durable and also made with organic materials (100% organic cotton in the front and polyester fleece in the back). Very cute for the baby! I gave mine to a friend who has a little one and she sent me a picture of him wearing it and he looked oh so cute!!!
Kelapo extra virgin coconut oil. I love coconut oil. Not only is it great for cooking or baking, but it’s great for use on skin. Coconut oil is perfect to use when your little one has diaper rash, teething, cradle cap and stretch marks. Kelapo coconut oil is organic and fair trade certified. I received a sample packet in my box. A 14 oz. jar goes for $11.99.
Previse skin care hydrofoam hyaluronic moisturizer. I received a full size in my box, which is $48.00 for 1.7 fl.oz. I love this moisturizer. It’s different because it doesn’t have that greasy feel that most moisturizers have and that’s because it is a foam. It is free of harsh preservatives, pore clogging silicones and contains potent antioxidants which are activated in the foam’s micro bubble mousse. It features extracts of fennel seed, marine algae, geranium oil and olive leaf with vitamin b5. It is hyperallergenic and fragrance free. It works well in moisturizing the skin and helps plump the skin and smooth fine lines. Perfect for new mommies.
SMART reusable anti-bacterial cloth. One towel was included in my box (a $2.99 value). This cloth is earth friendly because it is made with natural and recycled materials. It is designed to reduce waste because instead of using disposable antibacterial wipes or paper towels, you can use this cloth to save the earth. This durable and super absorbent fabric is embedded with silver particles that deactivate and suffocate the bacteria and viruses that cause mildew and bad odors in the cloth. Super earth friendly and eco-conscious.
If you like any of the products and would like to use them again, you can go to the Ecocentric mom shop and purchase them individually. Here’s a link to Save 10% on your first Ecocentric Mom shop purchase with code WELCOME
